Police probe suspicious factory fire in Melbourne.

An investigation was made into a factory fire in Thomastown, north of Melbourne. Emergency services were called to the blaze at the building just before 7pm.

More than 20 firefighters took about half an hour to control the fire, which completely gutted the factory. “There were flames coming out of the roof of the factory… the street was filled with smoke,” Commander David Woods from the MFB said. “The smoke and flames were quite strong.” No-one was injured.
